Dr. Marzuki Bin Khalid obtained a First Class Diploma in Electrical (Power) Engineering and the Best Student Award from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1980. In 1983 he graduated from University of Southampton, United Kingdom Bachelors Degree (Honours) in Electrical Engineering. In 1986 he graduated with a Masters Degree in Control Systems from Cranfield Institute of Technology, United Kingdom.
In 1994 he obtained his Ph.D. in the area of Neuro-Control from the University of Tokushima, Japan. He was awarded the ?International Exchange Award for Outstanding Research Accomplishment? from the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokushima, Japan.
Prof. Dr. Marzuki Khalid has been appointed as the new UTM Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) for three years term starting this year until 2012.
